Barbara Demlczuk was born in Austria. Only a stay in the psychiatric hospital in Gugging in the 1970s is known about the life story of the artist. In 2019, she was presented in the exhibition“Flying High: Women Artists of Art Brut” at the Kunstforum Vienna, Austria, together with other female art brut artists.
