Jürgen Tauscher was born in 1974 in St. Pölten, Austria, and has been living in the House of Artists in Gugging since 2012. Tauscher is interested in technology, action, adventure and science fiction – astronaut capsules, airplanes and helicopters are his main themes. The artist works primarily with pencil on paper – only occasionally he uses coloured pencils. In addition to all the means of transportation such as airplanes, spaceships and special cars, now and again you can also detect buildings. The cathedrals, houses or skyscrapers are integrated into his pictures as backdrops or arranged as main motifs. His works can be found in the Hannah Rieger Collection, Austria, and in the Diamond Collection, Austria.
