“simply… art” presents three Gugging Artists whose work has not yet received the recognition it deserves: Franz Kamlander, the first Gugging Artist to have a street named after him; Franz Kernbeis, one of the early classics, whose work “blug” gave its name to the first exhibition at museum gugging; and “bestseller” Heinrich Reisenbauer, who has also inspired fashion designer Christopher Kane, among others. Three artists whose depictions and themes touch us on a deeply personal level through their simplicity.
