The two upright characters wear colourful hats and earrings, their bodies filled with red marks and numbers. Among them, a flower grows from the head of a curled figure, whose face is tucked inside a spiralling black shape. The forms are simple but expressive, each figure rendered with Buchmann’s direct and emotionally charged line.

Text plays a central role in this piece. On the right side, in flowing handwriting, Buchmann writes as her words blur the boundary between image and thought, turning the painting into both a visual experience and a personal letter.
